Comments: An old favorite here in my garden. From my first year of hybridizing, Black Hole Implosion has been an extremely rust resistant plant and has shown extremely good breeding ability for rust resistance. The thrips resistance is just fair and the branching is not great, but the breeding ability is extremely good. Year after year, this has been a reliable plant and will make a very useful parent for anyone working on rust resistance, or who just appreciates the lovely burgundy flower with near black eye for their garden.
