Comments: One of the most beautifully colored lavender seedlings I have raised, Frozen River is a cool spot in the hot summer of midseason. Very rust resistant and with good thrips resistance, Frozen River is an easy and forgiving plant to grow, doing well in both south and north. Phoenician Royalty has proven to be an excellent parent for amazing purple and lavender coloring. This is one of the best. Fertile both ways, the seedlings are often beautifully colored as well and often show equally high rust resistance and thrips resistance. The veins that run through the floor add a nice point of interest to the flowers.
