Comments: One of the latest flowering plants that I grow, almost as late as Hunters In The Sky, but not quite. The lovely smokey lavender flowers show an intense green throat that lasts all day. The well-branched scapes produce a lot of flowers when the garden is sorely in need of color. With good substance, rain and sun resistance, and high thrips resistance, these flowers always look good. Very fertile both ways and with excellent rust resistance, Smoke On The Horizon is yet another example of the breeding ability of both parents and is a fine garden plant for the late season garden, as well as an excellent breeder bringing high rust and thrips resistance to any late season program.
