Elizabethan Fairy Queen is a delightful flower on an excellent plant with very reliable performance, combined with high fertility, rust resistance and thrips resistance, and is a tribute to the foundational work of the Munson breeding program, showing the famous 'Munson watermark'. The rust resistance is high at A level (it just narrowly missed A+ level). The thrips resistance is quite good. The color is extremely clear and pretty and the wonderful scapes with great branching and nice bud counts allow those lovely flowers to present in profusion for a long blooming period. It then follows up the performance with one or two rounds of rebloom, usually instant rebloom and fall rebloom most years here. Beautiful and reliable in the garden, as well as an excellent breeder for clear colors, a range of forms, bigger edges and great plants with vigor and resistance to rust and thrips.
