I can't tell you how much I LOVE Old Toby. Named for the finest Hobbit tobacco from the Lord Of The Rings books, this great flower is a rich tobacco brown with burgundy highlights. I LOVE these rich brown colors, and it is very hard to produce these brown tones that are even and consistent. Old Toby went through all five years of my rust resistance screening with A+ resistance each year, and has produced a number of nice seedlings, with its seedlings showing above average rust resistance. The plant is attractive, the thrips resistance is moderately high and the fertility is high both ways.
