Rust Resistance Ratings of My Introductions

The chart below shows the rust resistance rating system that I used for the duration of my rust resistance screening program, which lasted for five summers - 2012 through 2016. My daylilies have two different evaluation considerations: 1.) Rust Resistance rating and 2.) the number of years the cultivar was tested. For more on my rust resistance testing program, click here.

Aladdin Sane - Rust Resistance: A+/1 year
Baalbek - Rust Resistance: A+/3 years
Butterscotch Queen - Rust Resistance: Unknown, produced after rust resistance screening program had concluded. pod parent was A+/5 years and pollen parent showed B-level resistance.
Cheddar Gorgeous - Rust Resistance: Unknown, produced after rust screening program had ended. Pod parent was a+/5 years, while pollen parent was consistently B-level through the four years it was in my screening program.
Elizabethan Courtly Love - Rust Resistance: A+/2 years
Elizabethan Sharp Wit - Rust Resistance: A+/2 years
Eternal Mist - Rust Resistance: Unknown, germinated after rust resistance screening program was completed. Both parents are A+, one A+/5 years and the other A+/3 years. Pollen parent also has extremely high thrips resistance, while pod parent had moderate thrips resistance.

(please note - if you are interested in rust resistance, while many of the introductions for 2025 have unknown rust resistance, I still have numerous introductions to come in future years that derive from the five years of my rust screening program and do have known rust resistance.)
Amethyst Symmetry - Unknown, pod parent is a 5 year/A+ cultivar, pollen parent is a 3-year/B level.
Ancient Medallion - unknown, bred after my screening program was completed. Pod parent is A+/5 year and pod parent is 3 year/B level in my testing program.
Elizabethan Rouged Cheeks - A+/3 year
Fuchsia On High - Unknown, bred after my resistance program. Pod parent is A+/5 year, pollen parent is 5 year/B.
Heart Of Bravery - Unknown, bred after my rust screening program. Both parents are A+/5 year.
Korean Dragon King - unknown, bred after my screening program ended. Pod parent is A+/5 year and pollen parent is 3 year/B.
Lavender Blue Royalty - A+/5 year
